He has excavation experience in the City of Santa Cruz, Ano Nuevo, and Santa Clara University. He has extensive surveying experience in Santa Cruz County and at El Rito, New Mexico. Specializing in faunal analysis and historic preservation, Ben has been working for Albion since 2006. He also continues to work for Dr. Gifford-Gonzales at UCSC, is an active member of the Society for California Archaeology, and he also works with the Villa de Branciforte Preservation Society.
