Stella received her A.S. in Multimedia from Cabrillo College in 1999, Certification in Archaeological
Technology in 2005, her B.A. in Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz in 2005, and her M.A. in Applied Anthropology from San Jose State in 2009 where she is also earned a GIS Certificate. Ms. D'Oro is an active member of the Santa Cruz Archaeological Society and the Society for California Archaeology.
Working for Albion, Stella has excavated at Los Osos, Paso Robles, Camp Roberts, Santa Cruz, and at Santa Clara University where she has also worked as a field monitor. Ms. D'Oro also works on ethnograhic projects interviewing informants in the field, mapping ethnographic locations, and co-authoring reports. In the office, Ms. D'Oro spends much of her time compiling graphics for on-going projects such as those for Santa Clara University, PG&E, and the City of Santa Cruz. Designing and maintaining the Albion Environmental, Inc. website, she is proficient in Adobe Illustrator,
Photoshop, ImageReady, HTML, and is experienced in producing computer graphic illustrations for site records and professional
reports (as well as using traditional media). When she is not digging, she is gigging and creating sites for other musicians, local companies, and archaeological societies.
