Jackie received her B.S. in Ecology and Systematic Biology and her M.S in Biology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She has been working at Fort Hunter Liggett since 2000, where she is lead for arroyo toad, California red-legged and foothill yellow-legged frog, and least Bell's vireo monitoring. Jackie has a profound love for all things amphibian, reptile, and avian and is happiest when waist-deep in the river looking for tadpoles. When not in the field, Jackie's interests lead to GIS analysis and database construction. She is proficient in ArcGIS, ERDAS, Minitab, and Microsoft Access. In her spare time, Jackie freelances as an illustrator and a bassist for a Central Coast rock band.
