Jim Kilber has worked as a contract fish and wildlife biologist at Fort Hunter Liggett for over 13 years. He has worked for Albion since 2007, and is the lead biologist for game species management which includes, deer, elk, feral pigs, galliformes, and waterfowl. He is also the lead fisheries biologist with extensive experience in warm water fish pond management and identification of inland fishes of California.
Jim is also qualified with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to perform Threatened and Endangered Species surveys for San Joaquin Kit Fox, Arroyo Toad, Least Bell's Vireo, California Tiger Salamander, Vernal Pool Fairy Shrimp, California Red-legged Frog, Purple Amole, and Bald Eagle.
Jim received his BS degree at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo in Ecology and Systematic Biology, with a concentration in Fisheries and Wildlife Management.
