Stella D’Oro joined the Albion team in 2004 is a co-owner of the company. She is a Registered Professional Archaeologist, and received her MA in Applied Anthropology and a GIS Certification at San Jose State University in 2009. She has researched the archaeological record to document adaptations to environmental changes occurring 1000 years ago, in San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties. She is a Project Manager and Senior Archaeologist and is involved in all aspects of cultural resource management for projects ranging from private small-scale properties to large-scale public infrastructure developments. She collaborates with construction managers, designers, and Native American representatives, to negotiate mutually beneficial management options for all stakeholders. In addition, she leads Albion’s GIS and graphic design department, creating maps and figures for all projects.
