Lindsley Britton
Senior Archaeologist
Lindsley Britton graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2014 with a BA in Anthropology and joined the Albion team in 2014; she earned her MA in Anthropology in 2022. Lindsley directs the archaeology lab at our Santa Cruz office, and is responsible for managing artifact processing, cataloging, analysis, and curation. She specializes in identifying and analyzing archaeofaunal remains and implementing strategies for comprehensive and cost effective analysis. In addition, Lindsley is a skilled osteologist, and provides quick diagnoses of damaged and highly fragmentary human and non-human remains. She contributes to technical reports, providing summaries and interpretations of faunal assemblages, as well as curation recommendations.
