With the goals of teaching the public about the process of archaeology, and about the history and archaeology of Rancho San Andrés Castro Adobe, located in Watsonville, CA, Albion Environmental, Inc., and students in the UCSC Archaeological Field Methods Course are hosting a public archaeology event on Saturday June 3, from 10am-2pm. Archaeologists will be giving tours of the adobe grounds and our excavations, and have interactive exhibits about archaeological methods and our findings. Please come take part in this interactive day of sharing and learning.
