On June 3rd, Albion participated in a Public Archaeology Day at the Rancho San Andres Castro Adobe, in Watsonville, California. Albion partnered with UCSC, Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks, and California State Parks to provide archaeology-focused exhibits and activities. With over 100 visitors, the event was successful in engaging the public in their local history, and inspiring local youth to pursue their interests in discovery and science.
